I always love the Swe__n's Sizzling Apple pie in Singapore Crown price Hotel (I think they change its name)! Sharing this dessert with my friends, was wonderful. The hot and steamy apple pie mix with the cold icy vanilla ice-cream. Heaven!

An utterly awful experience at the Apple Bee at Time Square!!! After a long walk at Time Square, my friends and I order some of the desserts from its menu. One of the desserts was Sizzling Apple Pie and it wasn't sizzling at all. The pie was cold and the apple dices were yellow! So nv order that unless you are at anyother place except AB.... NOw, I wish I am back to Singapore to have some....

My second time to New York City. My first time to nyc, 2 years ago, was the worst experience ever!!My worst short trip; carrying my luggage to go round the city was tedious. So I give myself a try again. I was living at Faazila's place at Roosevelt island which overlooks the Brooklyn Bridge, wonderful place. I also enjoy spending time with her family too.

Thank you all guys; Faazila, Limei, Claire and Junliana Johan for their sweet accompany and controlling our insane shopping. I enjoy more with you guys!!

Seriously, It was a good experience except I have some crazy men coming to me and ask me out or even show me naked photos of their gfs...

Dinner was fancy at Little Italy, Soho and Che sea. Faazila 's mum really feed me alot for dinner! Once again thank you.

Wowowoow, It was a heavy snow fall and it was like a sudden drop in temperature. When we reached Ontario, snow started falling down and I can't wait for a hot bowl of chicken porridge to be placed in front of me. We have dim sum with Binthany, Johnannie, shere & Pete and Sylvia & Jeff. We drove a toyota family van to the Carriage Hill Resort. We couldn't get up the steep slope as the road was really icy. Thank goodness; our michele, the expert driver managed to manoeuvre the van up the icy slope. So proud of her: she is already petite and she look even smaller when she got on the driver's seat. So never underestimate the petite( hope she don't kill me after reading these line). At the resort, we were provided with wine glasses and even a coffee-maker!! You can see my beautiful legs going into the tub? Hahahha Thanks to Ck and Jaclyn for bring me to this luxurious place.

It was a 2 hours drive from buffalo. We queued for 30 minutes to get the tickets!! As usual, Nancy and Mario insisted to pay for our tickets!! My goodness!! Thank you so much!! But next time, I have to it myself..!! Pete tell your parents that please!!

It was an ancient village which was based in 1585 in London... There were performances, food(turkey legs and more) and things to see!

There were antique clothings for rent so most ang moi rent it.. I believe some of the ladies never realised that they need to wear a bigger size ..

My first experience to be in 1585. My foot was covered with 1 inch of dirt and my face too! However, seeing binthany fight was the best!! Once again, Thank you everyone who accompany me there!!

My first time seeing so many people in town... As everyone know, back home everywhere was crowded and I really hated the crowdedness. Maybe because of the emptiness in me, that I was happy to see people.... Allentown is at downtown buffalo... The festival have a lot of artistic pieces from drawings to status... The creativity was flooding the whole street. There were excellent paintings and some I think Sharon and I could do it!! Love to be in such an artistic surrounding. There was a little ger, about 6 years old, carrying her small cello and was playing " Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".. So sweet rite.. Once again, I miss my cello!!

Ling-yong Bao and Char Siew Bao bullied Tau Sar Bao during meal time. (Therefore, I only could capture both Ling-yong n Char Siew) Only both of them are eating. Poor Tau Sar Bao have to go and hid.

Those are Sherene and Michele s' pets. The three "BAO" Tortoises are very naughty!! Introducing: Ling-Yong Bao (bun), Char-Siew Bao and the smallest is Tau Sar Bao. I was taking care of them when my sisters and Pete ditched me and head for Florida!! They are very adorable. I could not stop watching their every moves, especially when they are eating. Tau Sar Bao will spill out after chewing his food and he eats the least. Ling Yong bao like to piggy-bag Tau Sar bao. Char-Siew like to bite Tau Sar. Poor Tau Sar!! So I feed Tau Sar Bao individually so those 2 baos cannot snatch his food! Miss them so much after they are gone but they have gotten really big! Poor Michele already have gotten lazy to change the water for them.

Please don't be mistaken that I took this picture from a zoo... I found this turkey outside my balcony!! There were 2 but I only managed to get hold of one...!!! I was shocked when they were in front of my balcony!! I have no idea whose animals were those but I believed Christmas was already over.... The 2 turkeys came out when it just started snowing.. Holes!!! I have clothes with holes now!! I do not know whether is due to wear and tear... or just that I am getting poorer! Hahaha. I think getting poorer is the truth:) My Levi jeans are torn too... Levi jeans that are not even 4 years old are torn! I want to go back home to get my cheap Levi Jeans. The jeans here I am no where a size 0 or size 2. After a long walk, still drenched!! We were at a pub called "Hooters". It have two storeys. We were at the ground floor- least happening place!! We got a nice chat and enjoyed the music!! I got myself a cocktail "bruised pink" It was the best cocktail ever!! The best part we did the countdown twice!!!! 1st countdown was hosted by the pub's DJ and it was like a min earlier than the actual countdown in Time Square(NYC). It was a rainy New Year's Day. We were in the subway-Drenched! Canada have the worst subway service ever!! It was my first time got smashed by the train's door and there was no warning even. Guess What? First second it opened and after 20 second it closed. There were 7 of us and only 4 got into the train!! Sharon, Eugene and I got leftout on the platform!!!! So Singaporeans have to be glad that our trains have the courtesy to open the door when someone got smashed!! Most important is the alert system (warning the door is closing) we have!!

We did a little shopping and it was so great!!! For dinner we have roasted duck and we even got dessert (Red Bean Soup) for FREE!!

Our Christmas Day was fun. We have lots of presents. Mario and Nancy have already broke the rules (Each Present for each person >$15). Naughty!! I also got lottery tickets in my X'mas socks. I have no idea how to scratch the bingo card.... Sherene helped me and I won Hahhaha $3.00 usd (the price of the lottery tickets). Throughtout this weekend we have been eating and drinking a lot as we grew so much fatter throughout the days. Hahahah... I am an angel lah!! Low budget one... Sharon lend me her white dress and she got herself a really big one.. No idea why?

Sharon introduced me to a dance studio to learn Waltz, Salsa, Tango and etc.... It is like 3 lessons for $15 dollars... I experienced how to dance Salsa, Tango, Waltz and Fox trot.. I love Salsa as it was so fun, but the spinning was bad...
Learning the basic steps were really useful. Eventually, I will never know when I am going to use it. Unless, I go to a ballroom function. It is going to be like a zero probability.;)

So the Halloween party was at the dance studio too. I saw quite a few scary faces and creative themes. Most houses have different themes on their yard!! I was amazed by their creativity!

Our first Snowman- Adam

Our first Snowman. My hands was so cold when I digged for snow. Need to buy waterproof gloves soon. But, it was so fun making snowman. Very pretty rite? The leaves are still green and it blends well with the white snow. How to have snowman adam during winter? There are no leaves by then. May be thats why we came out this theme for our snowman!!! (Look at the bottom) -clue why is Adam.? Actually, on October 13 was the day I suppose to have chemistry exam and I studied so hard for it during the nite... without lights! Guess what there is no school.. Then we have to build snowman to entertain ourselves. Don't worry guys I still can take the cold by eating a lot! Hahaha

My first snowfall on October 12 2006!! I will have to remember this date. When the snow fell from the sky, my mouth cannot be shut. I am so astonished by the white fuzzy thingy falling from the sky. The Wildlife Refuge Trip

The last place I would want to visit is the wildlife refuge. I have no choice but to be there to do my biology report. I would like to thank Ben and his father for fetching me all the way there. It was about 35 minutes drive from Buffalo. Ben offered to fetch me and he took care of me very well. I was so thrilled that there was someone bringing me to the remote place. Once again, Thanks Ben and Uncle!!

The wildlife refuge is huge. Everyone was assigned at different part of the refuge to do their project. Mine was near the swamp. The best part was that I got a place that only have fungus!!! Ben got a denser vegetation than me; which is only one bench away from me. The first picture of the pathetic chair is the place I was assigned to and is almost the end of the swamp trail.

I was suppose to find 5 organisms there. I think is so much easier to find 5 in Mount faber than here. All the insects and animals are all dead man or is it the place I am in? I was desperate that I chase after a small squrriel but, it ran faster than me. Miss it.

After my 2 months, I get to dig into my only enjoyment. The 3 hours of driving to Toronto was tedious (hahahah. !not I drive tedious what?) I was sleeping at the back of the car, while Michele was driving and Sharon was the Navigator. I was a little sick by the way. But, when I am see Tim Sim, I was recovering instantantously . Have all the baos, dumping and egg tarts. I missed my Ji Chung Fun(Hope I get it correct) and Fried Carrot cake!! We were waiting and waiting for the Chung Fun but there isnt. Guess wat? After we paid the bill, I saw there is 2 ang moi ladies eating Chung Fun!!! :(;(

We went shopping too. Michele wanted to buy rice cooker and so we went to the very chinese shopping centre. We also had Bubble Tea!!! It is so much nicer than in USA. However, it is so expensive ($3.60usd). Hais : no choice I am craving for it. It was so hard not to drink it as many people was drinking it.

Then we went to have our dinner at a shanghai resturant. We order "Xiao long Baos" with crab meat and Steam Duck!! Delicious ah!!! The queuing was worth it. Have to wait for another 2 months for the enjoyment again.

Japanese Curry.. First achievement

First I would like to announce that Sharon (my sis, my childhood friend, room mate) and I achieve something on Monday 4 Sep 2006!! We made super delicious and succulent Japanese curry!! Can sell at least $4.00 usd per plate better than the korean food at UB!!! so expensive.

Too bad I cant work!! Student how to work!!? Moreover, I still plan sell on monday as less people bring food to school on monday or sell them at the dorms!! Good money ah!! You see I so business innovative ah!

My first Trip to Canada

My first Trip to Canada(Hamilton)!! Wowowow is like a peaceful world. I did pass by niagara falls on my way back. I just pass by only, wanted to wait for Daddy and Mummy, Ma and Pa to come!Then go together. I would like to thank Chee Ming for bring us everywhere!!

Our first stop was Ikea

Sharon and I saw a coffee table just nice for our abandon living room. One of the reason both of us are not in the the living room because there is no table and the TV is super small. As I told you my luck is so bad, that there were no stock left even for that table. I usually have luck in buying things and now things are going worst!

Tim Sum at Crystal Dynasty

I have never had so much prawns in tim sum before! The shrimps were all very huge. My Siew Mai was so delicious and big. I was trying to eat lesser but cannot resisted man. Lastly, we went to a mall to exercise ourselves!! The mall was huge and have so many cars (my flickr have the picture)

I have no chance to take the ride as it was way too deer. But nvm, I get to pay games and I did won something. Lots of Soft toys. Michele give me one.

There was this man who would guess my age if I pay him. The rule of the game is that if he guess wrongly I will get something in return from him.
I was so sad when he guess that I am 24 years old!! But, who CAres, I WON!! Thank you sharon!
I have lots of fun although I nv get onto those rides. Thanks Scotty for bring us there!!!

A Squirrel in action !!

Arrived at the JFK Airport ....... Going to take a Domestic Flight to BUFFALO . (Look at the pic) Hahahah An American african lady doesn't know how to spell an animal or state! The re are about 8 gates there and within 10 mins there were change of gates . The first announcer sounded liked he was broadcasting a football game. After 10 mins, another guy sounded liked he is in a Betting room. There was no peace till I am on the plane.

The America Journey Part 3

Then arrived at JFK airport after 5 hours flight. We have a day before taking a domestic flight to Buffalo. I was also exhausted. I almost wanted to dump my new laptop!! I have already carry my laptop and my heavy carrier to Manila, Hongkong,Los Angeles and now New York city!

The best part I have to carry those to New York City. Walking from the rail station to Chinatown was so far. I almost stood at the middle of the road and refused to move!
Then got to the Grand Central Station!! I change more than 5 trains to get there. I was so tired that I just took a few snapshot and not myself in it as I looked like a mad woman. I didn't bath for like 3 days already! I was brushing my teeth at the Ladies and it was so crowded that my brushing process was only 3 min. But over all The Grand Central was gorgeous. Really have to go there again!

We were waiting for Claire, who stay at Queens to come and get us. When she arrived, we started our journey again.
I changed about 6 trains and going up and down the stairs for as the subway routes were different. I was looking at the map and it took me quite a while to figure out the routes. The Queens station was so faraway from Claire's home, with my carrier. Thank you Claire for providing me a hot bath!!

Then we made our way back to JFK airport. :( got to change a lot of trains again!

The America Journey Part 2

Then flying from Manila to Hong Kong....

Arrived at Hong Kong, the place was chaotic. I started to queue at the Cathay line. After queuing for an hour, I was thinking my patience was pulled to the max already. Can you believe it!!! There is only 2 Cathay Pacific counters to cater for a queue that was almost from gate 4 to gate 25. I was still at gate 4 for an hour.

China Airlines have 7 counters with no queue!! I was still on standby as not a single plane was allowed to fly. Got up to the gates to the departure and saw my friends!! Poor them have to stay in the airport for a nite.

Here comes the shit part- We have to fly to LA then to JFK airport. We have to run with our heavy hand- carrier from gate 4 to gate 28. We really ran as the plane is going to take off.
We managed to get on the plane CX884 and we thought it was ready for taking off. Guess what the story doesn't ends!! The right wings of the plane is leaking fuel!!! They took 4 hours preparing it and we were all sweating in the plane!

123 ready to take off... the wings are still leaking fuel!!!!! My neighbor and I was so worried that we kept pressing the alarm. Both of us was just beside the wings and we will be the first to die first if the wings caught fire. People was shouting and everything was a mess. the fuel was still leaking until we are on air. There was not a single soul come to explain what was happening. It was so life-threatening! The most horrible announcement was that" The flight attendants is going to serve you all hot food."

After 15 hours of flight, we landed at LA airport and was queuing again for our transfer to JFK. Later, we found out that our transfers were not to JFK but to Miami!! We were so mad with Cathay. Sherene and I got the domestic flight but not Peter!! But thank goodness we saw him on the plane later ! Our luggage went missing!!

The America Journey Part 1

Flying off from Penang to Hongkong.... Then I was so lucky to meet a tyhoon. The plane was trying to land at hongkong for the third time. We have no choice but to re-route to Manila.

Arriving at Manila airport, the airport refuse to let us get down. I was in the plane for more than 5 hours. Then around evening time.. We proceed to the Corpthrone Heritage hotel. Thank goodness I met a Penang aunty:Maggie, who borrowed her phone to me, to call Penang. The best part was the 2 important man in my life never answer. We share the hotel room together. We have buffet dinner and is so ridiclous that it was SINGAPORE buffet. Why ridiclous? I started missing SINGAPORE food already liao and now is just right in front of me. After the buffet, visited the mini casino and I almost couldn't get in as they thought I was under-aged. I am so happy I look young over there.

Try calling again and I was so glad that Daddy and Uncle Roger called me back. The next morning, we proceed to the airport and I was almost half-naked at the custom check-point. I was wearing a mini waist pound underneath my clothes and she raised all the way up. I was so mad at her and I bought my top back down. The guys in front of me were staring at me already man! Typically I am took off everything I have already and I was wondering the security scanner is it working a not!!! Worst airport on earth!!!

Then come to collecting passport... I waited for an hour for my passport before I can get into the plane. Reason being Singapore is starting with a letter S.

The place I bath when I am young Used to run on the stair ways

Miss this place a lot!! As always I will bath and play in the tank instead of going into the bathroom. The bathroom have too many rats! But as I grow older I tend to bath at the balcony upstairs: sky line view . Thank goodness my grandmother house is the highest!! Hahaha. The stairways I used to run together with my brother and cousins. There was once someone feet when through the wood and he was semi dropping down to the first floor. I remember just that all of us got wacked by our great-grandmother!! The best part was from then on all of us have to hop over that hole. Through times the hole got bigger....

Indian Bread Man

I went back to Penang at last, after 2 years. One main reason is to pray my Ah ma and Ah Kong: very long nv see them liao. Oh and definitely my Cousins, Aunties and Uncles.

The second most important thing is eat!! Seafood, Penang kway teow, Penang Laksa and Penang ching tin. What I missed is my duck soup noodle and my Loh Loh. Sad :(

Is not my first time leaving Singapore for Penang.... But I bet is going to be a few years before I am back! Ah yoi.. My baggage overweigh.. I knew it! Got scolding from my mother Na na nag...

But at the end I still have to thank them for going through this with me!!! It is a long way to get there!! See you all at Penang!

I didnt see Ta Jie the longest!! Even since she came back from Australia and never meet her before around. At least, I saw Er Jie and San Jie around town. Jie Jie men2 always be pretty. Pa and Ma too have to take care! Miss you all take care.Mucks
